The new type of printers, which contain the fiscal memory, need to be connected directly to a router with a LAN cable. After that, you need to connect your device to the same network as the printer.
The following Datecs fiscal printer models do not require the print driver installation and are integrated in Ebriza:
- Datecs DP-150
- Datecs DP-25
- Datecs WP-500
For the printer to communicate with Ebriza, you will need connect the printer directly to a router with a LAN cable. After that, you need to connect your device to the same network as the printer.
To install the new fiscal printers follow the steps:
1. Go to Printers in POS menu
2. Select the "+" icon.
3. Select the model that you have and you want to install.
4. Wait until the IP for the printer is found.
5. After it has been recognized, click on the IP address.
6. Name your printer, choose the rooms (if you want the fiscal receipt to be printed only for a certain room or if you have multiple printers) and save.
ATTENTION: Please make sure that the printer's screen is set on Connection PC and that the connection is through LAN, otherwise it will not recognize it.
To see the settings on the printer and if this is through LAN connection
You will need to:
- Click ON from your printer.
- Go with the arrow up until you reached Programming, Click Total.
- Put in the printer's password provided by the manufacturer and click Total.
- Go with the arrow up until you reached Configuration, Click Total.
- Go with the arrow up until you reached Communication, Click Total.
- Go with the arrow down until you reached Connection PC, Click Total.
- Make sure that on the screen it appears LAN.
- Double click Total so that the changes to be saved.
- After this, go with the arrow down until you reached LAN, Click Total.
- Option: DHCP needs to be on screen as: YES.
- Double click on Total so that the changes to be saved.
- And last step is to go back to the Connection PC from the Main Menu of the printer.
